Eclipse Production Launches Native Eigojuku on SmoothWeb

Michael Anop, President of Eclipse Production, explained “Recently, Eclipse Production developed the concept of a mobile-phone and PC based website that would allow subscribers to study English via their cell phones, with content created by celebrities well-known by the Japanese public, fluent in Japanese, and knowledgeable about one or more subjects, such as music or sports. We fleshed out the concept, lined up content production agreements, and started serious discussions with carriers about getting onto their official menus.  We knew we needed one or more web servers, hopefully with easy to use tools to allow non-technical Eclipse staff to keep the site’s text, images, audio, and video, up to date.”
